How Can Circus Days Benefit Your School.
School doesn’t have to be a chore, relieve your pupils of the strain of studying with fun and active skills that are suitable for all ages.
Learning basic skills is one of the best ways to build confidence, improve co-ordination and understand the process of learning.
Children Learn more when having fun so stimulate your pupils with a challenging, exciting way to exercise, socialise or simply find a new interesting hobby.
Circus Day Structure
The day begins with a fun introduction to circus skills where the circus instructor will demonstrate the skills the pupils will be able to learn throughout the day and of course show off a bit.
The pupils then have the opportunity to help themselves to a wide variety of circus equipment.
During this period the circus instructor will work around the group giving one on one tuition on how to improve their skills.
What Skills Are Involved
In A Circus Day?
Circus equipment can be provided for up to 35 young people to 'Have a Go' at any one time including:
- juggling balls,
- diabolos,
- spinning plates,
- poi,
- stilts,
- fun wheels,
- devil sticks,
- unicycles
- balloons.
These skills help improve co-ordination and balance.
The Joker also provide artistic activities, whether its quick messy art or quiet cutting and sticking.

Multiple Bookings
If multiple bookings are made a performance can be choreographed with the pupils - great for school assemblies and plays.
The Joker’s Circus Days are also Perfect for Luchtime or After School Clubs and can be transferred to other aspects of the pupils lives such as P.E or playground activities.
A ‘Fun Foundation in Circus Skills’ certificate will be given to the participating members at the end of the course.
Team Building
Workshops
Circus Skills is not just for children. Get your Staff working together and more active.
Up to 15 people can be involved in a Team-Building workshop.
The main goal of the day is to learn new skills with circus equipment and balloons, small groups then work together to improve their skill on a chosen piece of equipment which will then be taught to others.
Team-Building members will then arrange their own Circus act, this will be performed at the end of the day.
Perfect for Teachers Training days.
