Using art as a media we can work with the community to help improve their environment. The picture shown left is from a project in Maltby, Rotherham. During six week-ends we worked with the children of Maltby to transform a run down and vandalized children’s play area. The children helped both design and paint the images as well as helping put in the elbow grease sanding and priming. With help from ‘The Joker Entertainment’ the children of Maltby turned a once ugly feature into a fun and bright space with friendly cartoon characters.Many of the children involved found a new respect for the area they once helped vandalize as they felt they had contributed to making it a better place.

Messy Hand and Feet painting
Kids love to get messy! If you don’t mind them getting messy either this hand and feet painting may be what your looking for. Hand and feet painting is a great way to create a quick and easy collaborative piece. Our assistant involved can even create a pattern by walking on his hands! With a range of colours and huge areas for the children to play on, either in paper or canvas a rather beautiful masterpiece can be created in a fun and innovative way.

Cutting and Sticking
If a slightly tidier and quiet activity is what you’re looking for, cutting and sticking may be right up your street. We can make anything from costumes to book marks to cards for all occasions and all seasons.

Mask Making and Hat Decorating
We can also provide fun craft activities such as mask making and hat decorating, using card, paints, glue and fun accessories giving the children something to take home they can be proud of..

Modelling Plastercine
The sky is the limit with plastercine, you can make what ever you like, in what ever colour or style and it will never dry or go hard.

Modelling with Vegetables and Matchsticks
Using a range of vegetables from potatoes to carrots  to sprouts to parsnips and a few exciting accessories such as googly eyes, matchsticks and sticky foam we can create fun and exciting animal critters. This activity is great for all ages and has even seen entire families get involved.
