Meet ‘The Joker Entertainment’s’ regular entertainers.
All regular entertainers are covered under ‘The Joker Entertainment’s’ public liability, which covers us for up to £5,000,000 and are CRB checked personally by the proprietor Martin Heaton.
Martin Heaton is the proprietor of ‘The Joker Entertainment’ and has almost 10 years experience in the business, providing entertainment at hundred‘s of events across the country.
You will find Martin on site doing a whole range of activities from the Circus Workshop and Stilt Walking to Dancing around in our Animal Mascot Costumes and performing as a Clown.
Martin Also deals with many of the behind the scenes activities such as the admin and taking your calls and emails. Give Martin a call for answers to all your queries!!
Mike Heaton, Father of proprietor Martin Heaton helped set up ‘The Joker Entertainment’ back in 2002 and has been in the background ever since.
In April 2008 Mike’s role in ‘The Joker Entertainment’ increased due to the company growing and is now one of our site managers.
Mike Also deals with some behind the scenes activities such as the admin.
Adam Buckle is one of our most experienced entertainers providing services right across our range from stilt walking to the circus workshops to balloon modelling.
You will also sometimes find Adam in one of our mascot costumes.
As well working with ‘The Joker Entertainment’ Adam also works as a child minder in a nursery and local Playland making Adam very professional and experienced with children.
Jane Selby joined ‘The Joker Entertainment’ in 2008 as a dance instructor for our dance workshops, fresh from University where she studied dance.
Jane however is also a fantastic mixed entertainer able to provide services right across our range from stilt walking to balloon modelling and even dabbling in circus skills.
As if that wasn't enough, Jane is a top mascot costume entertainer due to her experience working at Disneyland, Paris in 2007.
Julian Scofield has been with ‘The Joker Entertainment’ since 2005. Julian specializes in circus skills such as spinning plates, diabolo, rola bola and particularly in juggling, juggling up to five juggling balls.
You will often find Julian on our circus workshops demonstrating and showing off how to use the equipment.
You will also find Julian as a walkabout clown, assuming an almost mime like character letting his mind boggling juggling do the talking.
Sam Pickering is one of our group leaders as he has been with’ The Joker Entertainment’ almost from the very beginning, working with us every year as we have grown.
Sam started life at ‘The Joker Entertainment’ 5 years ago as one of our mascot costumes and soon after learnt the art of stilt walking, a skill in which Sam now specializes.
You will most likely find Sam on his stilts, however he does get involved in our other activities such as the circus skills and balloons.
